A while back, I got a nifty trail cam that lets me take time lapse pictures, so I’ve been working on small shorts outdoors and indoors to see what works best. I’ve found that the background is just as important compositionally as how the action moves around the constants. This video shows me trimming a dozen plates, all of which will be in the December 13th posting. Special thanks to Bobby Tahouri for the excellent music.

MATCH STRIKER VIDEO
Months in the making, my new video is out at last. Photographer Chloe Aftel, who has shot two of my postcards (woman licking plate and winking cowboy), has outdone herself again by directing this fabulous video. None of it could have happened without her vision, hard work, and organizational skills. Donavan Sell works the camera, Bobby Tahouri the music, and my cousin, Lee Chatametikool the editing. Thanks to all the brilliant crew and actors for their talents! Special thanks to Robin Whitlock and Ken Greene for their additional smarts and support.
Also, check out my Spring Posting today! Along with earthenware, there will be a few special pots. Two porcelain cups with red drawings- a bird singing the alphabet in silver and a silver rabbit with his giant red counterpart. And some collaborative work done with Brooklyn illustrator and comics artist, Sara Varon, featuring a vampire, exfoliating rabbit (true!), nurse, boxers (the punching kind), and frightened dinosaurs.
