Salt Cellars

A collaboration with Josh Vogel of Blackcreek Merchantile who turned the cherry wood lids, these porcelain salt cellars were made in two batches and were commissioned by Studio KotoKoto, once in 2012 and then in 2014. They’re designed so that the lid can be removed with one hand and heavy enough so that they’re not knocked over while in a cooking frenzy. Unfortunately, these were a limited edition and no more will be made. You can see more here.
